Terms of Service
Last updated: November 5, 2026
These Terms govern your use of IKONO Subasta (the "Platform"), operated by IKONO Subasta ("IKONO", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, the Auction Rules and the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use IKONO
- Anyone may browse the Platform.
- To bid or sell you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the United States, and provide a U.S. state and a U.S. mobile phone number. We may ask for additional verification at any time.
- You may hold only one account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
2. What IKONO does
IKONO is an online marketplace where verified sellers offer items by auction to registered buyers. IKONO reviews each lot before it is published, runs the auction, coordinates payment with the winning buyer, holds the buyer's payment, receives and verifies each item, ships it to the buyer, and then pays the seller. Unless stated otherwise, IKONO is not the owner of the items offered.
3. Bids are binding
Every bid is a binding offer to buy the lot at that amount if you win. Bids cannot be withdrawn. Placing bids you do not intend to honor, bidding on your own items or on behalf of a seller, or any attempt to manipulate prices is prohibited and may lead to account suspension and legal action.
4. Payment
- The winning buyer must pay the full amount within 24 hours after the auction closes.
- An IKONO representative will contact the winner by phone or WhatsApp, using the details in the winner's account, to arrange payment. IKONO will never ask for card numbers or passwords by chat, phone or WhatsApp.
- Shipping, insurance and any applicable sales tax are confirmed with the buyer before payment.
- If payment is not completed on time, IKONO may cancel the sale, offer the item to another bidder or relist it, and suspend the buyer's account.
5. Custody, verification and delivery
- The buyer's payment is held by IKONO and is not released to the seller until IKONO has received and verified the item.
- The seller ships the item to IKONO's receiving address. IKONO inspects authenticity and condition against the lot description.
- If the item passes verification, IKONO ships it to the buyer's U.S. address. The buyer confirms receipt in the Platform.
- If the item does not pass verification, the sale is canceled and the buyer's payment is refunded in full.
6. Sellers
- Sellers must verify their identity and be U.S. residents. Seller payouts are made only to a U.S. bank account in the seller's name.
- The seller represents that it owns the item, has the right to sell it, and that the description and photos are accurate and complete.
- IKONO's commission is shown before the seller submits a lot and is fixed at the moment the auction closes. The seller receives the final price minus the commission, after verification and approval of the payout.
- Prohibited items are listed in the Auction Rules.
7. Information on the Platform
Market records, news headlines and assistant answers are provided for general information. Market records are public sales by other auction houses and are not for sale on IKONO. The automated assistant may make mistakes and does not appraise items.
8. Suspension
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, provide false information, fail to pay, or put other users at risk.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes before they take effect.
