Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information IKONO Subasta ("IKONO") collects through IKONO Subasta, how it is used and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

• Account: name you choose to display, email, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider), U.S. state, mobile phone number and preferred language.
• Bidding and purchases: your bids, auctions won, payments recorded and the delivery address you provide.
• Sellers: full legal name, identity document type, number and image, lots and photos you upload, and the U.S. bank account for payouts (holder, bank, routing and account number).
• Contact requests: name, phone, preferred channel (call or WhatsApp), preferred time, reason, and, if the request comes from the assistant, the conversation.
• Assistant: the messages you type to the automated assistant.
• Devices: if you enable notifications, a technical address that lets us send alerts to that device.
• Cookies: session cookies needed to keep you signed in and a cookie that remembers your language. We do not use advertising cookies.

2. How we use it

• To run auctions, verify sellers, coordinate payment, ship items and pay sellers.
• To contact you about your bids, purchases and sales, by notification, email, phone or WhatsApp.
• To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms. Every bid and administrative action is recorded in an audit log.
• To answer your questions through the assistant and our team.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

3. Who can see it

• Other users only see you as "Bidder N" in bid histories. Your name, email, phone and address are never shown publicly.
• IKONO's administrator can see account, contact and transaction details to operate the service, and opens identity documents through temporary links that expire after 10 minutes.
• Service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication and file storage; servers located in São Paulo, Brazil), Vercel (website hosting), Anthropic (automated assistant answers), Apple and Google (delivery of push notifications) and Resend (account emails).
• Authorities, when required by law.

4. Retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and afterwards as required for legal, tax and fraud-prevention purposes. Bid records are permanent by design to keep auctions verifiable.

5. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your profile in My account, change your language at any time, and turn notifications on or off per device. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by writing to privacidad@ikonosubasta.com. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have additional privacy rights, and we will honor them when you write to us.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Identity documents and lot photos are stored privately. Administrative access requires two-step verification.

7. Children

IKONO is not intended for people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
